About Cycle Hire

We provide a helmet included in the hire price, to be worn for the customers safety.

We provide helmet, lock (lights and basic pannier bags on e-bikes), delivery/pick up and breakdown service.

When you order your bike and let us know your height we will allocate the correct size bike for you. If you have any requirements for your bike hire please use the additional information section on the booking form or send an email to [email protected]

The maps we provide clearly show the different roads/pathways on the island.  We ask you not to ride on the beaches, cliff paths, pavements or any other non-cycling designated area.

Yes we do, there is a £10 one-off charge for these, just select when booking online or let us know and we can add them to your hire.

We have child seats fitted onto unisex adult bikes, these generally take up to 20KG and are recommended for babies/small children that are able to support themselves and their head comfortably and confidently. A trailer can carry up to 40KG and has two small seats recommended for one or two small children able to support themselves and their head.  A Tag-a-long is fitted to an adult bike and will take a child who can balance and feel safe cycling along behind. All of these options are at the parent’s discretion. Child seats are for a minimum age of 12 months.

About Booking

We require pre payment and booking in advance by 12pm on the day prior to bike hire to guarantee delivery of your bike hire.  Otherwise we can arrange collection.

We do not offer less than 24 hour rental or half day hire.

We can easily cater for large groups adult or child, pre-booking is recommended for a group discount.

A trekking bike is a good all round comfortable upright ride for Guernsey’s lanes, coastal paths and roads, plus it comes with a basket. A mountain bike has wider tyres and is good for exploring coastal paths and rougher lane and road surfaces but cannot hold a basket.

About Paying

If you’re booking through the website you can pay at the time using PayPal or credit/debit card.  Or if booking on the day you can pay by card or cash.

For groups over 10 we can offer 10% discount.  We regularly have special offers for bike hire, please check our social media channels.  We offer long term hire discount for a minimum of 28 days (deposit required).

If you’re using the easy online booking form then the payment will be immediate, but of course, we offer a refund if you need to cancel your booking in advance. There is a £1 surcharge for card payments.

A deposit is not necessary for the majority of hire.

Delivery & Breakdown

We guarantee delivery by 9am with advance booking.  There is a chance the bike(s) are delivered early depending on our delivery schedule, you do not need to meet us, we will leave the bikes at the accommodation cycle parking / locked in your driveway – helmets and hire form LOCK CODE, BIKE NUMBERS, T&Cs AND YOUR NAME IS ON THE HIRE FORM will be at the reception area / inside the pannier bags or helmet / posted through your letterbox.

We offer a full breakdown service and aim so be with you within the hour during high season (April to September) and two hours during low season. Please call 07781 103692.

If you get a puncture, we’ll come and meet you to fix the problem as soon as we can and get you on your way again in no time!

If this happens, please get yourself and the bike to a safe place and secure the bike then notify us as soon as possible.

As a general rule we don’t provide tools for the bikes, but we do offer a full breakdown service.
